Just the Two of Us

Here is a LO I did with the photos from our 16th Anniversary!

I had done the first side weeks ago and loved how it turned out. As for the second side, I had the 2's cut but that was it. Libby posted a "All About Me" challenge at Scrapbook Doodle and I knew right away what I would make. My journaling is about my feelings about my husband and how I want to grow old with him. I had just had a horrible dream about what every military wife dreads, the knock on the door from a Chaplain. I want my husband to know exactly how I feel! I LOVE him!

One Reason I LOVE Glimmer Mist

I have an ever growing collection of Glimmer Mist and I LOVE them all! My latest is "Piece Of Heart" for Autism Awareness, it is Gorgeous!

Anyway, I had this green flower, like the one of the left of this picture. It was way to bright and light for what I needed. So, I pulled our my beloved English Ivy and Glimmered it up until it was the exact color I needed.

Shadow Box

My dear friend took me away for a weekend for HER birthday! I wanted to give her something special and this is what I came up with! I LOVED it so much I am going to make one for my bedroom.
I bought a shadow box with a canvas background. I had fun using several glimmer mist colors to bling up the back ground.
I made the flowers out of tissue paper and then glimmer misted and stickled them.
I cut LOVE with my cricut but I wanted more depth so I cut and glued 8 layers together and then it was the perfect depth.

Thanks for looking.

My Birthday Present!!

The morning of my birthday, Brian told me we were going to Raleigh for the morning. I had no idea what he had planned but I knew we didn't have a lot of time since we had drama practise in the early afternoon.
We drove right to an Art store that carried COPIC markers! I had told Brian one time that I wanted some, and that was weeks earlier. I was so impressed that he remembered and took the time to search for a local store! He is SO awesome!

So here is my stash...
The next day I went upstairs and I captured the most beautiful moment between a Father and his Son! They were both sprawled out on the floor with Copics all around them coloring Lighten McQueen. I am so blessed with such a great family!

Since my family and I love them so much, I ordered a "FEW" more!! They will be here Tuesday, yes I am stalking the Fed Ex website.

Create a Critter

This morning the boys and I were looking at the newest release of Cricut Cartridges. Gage (10) and Hayden (11) fell in love with Create a Critter and begged me to get it.
A few moments later I went to My Pink Stampers website and Robyn had posted a challenge for a project made with pink, green and black. There will be a random draw and the prize is the Create a Critter Cartridge!
As soon as the boys saw what the prize was, they took off into my scraproom and started creating! One guy grabbed the gypsy in search of the perfect flower and tag, the other guy started searching for the perfect paper! After a little time, here is what they came up with!

Best of luck, my sweet guys! I am glad you share my passion for scrappin!
