PINK PAINT!!

It is FINALLY time to start painting!! YIPPEE!!

Well after months of debate and trying to make sure my room "Flows" with the rest of the house, I have decided what I am going to do with my room! It certainly won't "Flow" but that is OK!

I am decided to put in white cabinets, black countertops and paint the walls PINK!! I originally was going to go with "Oh so pink", a very light pink!

But as we were at Lowe's Brian told me to "GO BOLD" so I did! I choose Nanas Rose for my walls. It is the same color as the Glimmer Mist mat!

I am SO excited! Pink just makes me happy, so I wanted to make my room a HAPPY PLACE!!

Plus I found the PERFECT black shelves at Target last week!!

Now if only my room was done so I could MOVE IT!!

Happy Birthday

I made this card to celebrate Uncle Kevin's 50th Birthday!

I am submitting this to Bitten By the Bug. They are have a NUMBERS Challenge with the prize being a Cricut Calendar cartridge! And you all know I make at least 3 calendars every Christmas, so this cart would be a blessing.

Pink Storage Boxes

I have spend endless hours searching for Pink Storage Boxes for my scrapbook room. I found some on Ebay but they were ridiculously priced and the shipping was crazy.

Today I finally found the perfect PINK storage boxes and they are "Perfect Pink" in color. There are even two sizes available which is even more perfect. They are Sizzix die storage boxes, but I think they will do just fine for what I need them for.
The bigger one measures 6 1/4 X 6 3/4 X 9 1/4
The small one measures 5 1/3X3 1/3X9 1/4.

And they have the Cutest little flowered Nameplate!

Buttons Buttons Beautiful Buttons

I am getting very anxious to start planning my scrapbook room! But since we are not sure exactly what are doing yet, I can't do much planning!
BUT, I knew I wanted to store my buttons in these adorable jars from Making Memories! After loading them up, they just looked a little Blah, so I embellished them last night.

These WILL be somewhere on my table or a shelf, they are just too cute to hide!

Gypsy Gala Giftbag

About two weeks ago I won a Gypsy Gala Giftbags from Cricut.com

My package arrived today and I was totally excited! Because the new Gypsy will not be released until the Fall I received a Voucher for one! WOOHOO! Rumor has it that it will be available October 4th at Michael's.
In box was also the Sweethearts Cartridge. I am not sure I would have actually purchased this one but now that I have it, I know there are a few things I will cut from it. I really like the Mr & Mrs... it will make cute Wedding cards. I like the phrases much more then shapes.

There was also a book and some Gypsy M&M's. The kids have all ready devoured them!

Here is a photo of my little room...

The floor is in and the insulation is complete!

Now the hard part begins, I have to make choices!

Do I use the Cube System from Michaels?? These are not permanet and could easily be moved, remember we ARE military!

Or do I let Brian build in cabnets and counters?? These would obviously be permanent. (Brian does wants to retire here)

I really wanted to paint my room pink, but Brian suggested a more neutral color. The room is small and there is no window.

What do you think ladies??

My scraproom construction has started!!

Brian's parents are here visiting and we have officially broke ground on the bonus room. My little room official has flooring so no more kiddos can fall through the rafters. I can't wait for this little room to be finished and ALL MINE!
